Cheryl Walton, an award winning,  local Visual Artist, featured in the Kentucky Appalachian Arts Center, began offering classes to study the dynamic medium of Watercolor on 09 January 2009.  With over 30 years of experience painting in Oil and Watercolor and 12 years of teaching experience, she has the skills, technique and knowledge to help beginners and experienced painters realize their full potential in the exciting arena of expressing themselves in Watercolor. 

Mrs Darlene was born and raised in Southeastern Kentucky.  She's mastered the craft of old style candle making over 12 years of trial and error and is offering the results here from Mrs Darlene and her Delights.  These candles are great decorative accents to any room and when lit provide a slow burning, low light, light scent.  From the first lighting to the last, these beautiful aromatic masterpieces of candle craft add magic to any room.  Scents available are "French Vanilla", "Cinnamon", "Gardenia", "Mulberry" and a new scent named "Angel Wings" which reminds one of a freshly cleaned and powdered baby.  A scent which is in development is "Irish Cream".  She promises it will smell like freshly stirred cake batter that will tempt you to lick the bowl.  These can be purchased for 6$ plus shipping and handling.  Send an E-mail or call for more information or to place your order.
